Benign Pigmented Lesions - Solar lentigo etc

Here you are considering Solar lentigo, Seborrhoeic keratosis, Pigmented solar keratosis, Mucosal melanotic macule, Epidermal nevus, Sebaceous nevus, Cafe au lait spot, Speckled lentiginous nevus and Nevus of Ota and Ito. Seborrhoeic keratosis and Pigmented solar keratosis will be dealt with elsewhere.
With the others the issue is usually are there increased numbers of melanocytes or just increased melanin in keratinocytes. Sometimes that is contentious!
